Flowing past
In this series of works, I focus on the artificial landscapes directly or indirectly generated by human activities. The symptoms of these landscapes involve the issues left behind after people depart—tracing, replicating, depicting, and preserving. Detached surface structures and abstract landscape snapshots form a part of the works. The scale becomes blurred as I attempt to detach these elements from the environment and compose them into a set of abstract symbols, attempting to express the coordination or conflict between humans coexisting or perishing alongside the traces of existence or activity in these places and the grand nature.

这组作品中我关注于直接或间接由⼈类活动⽽产⽣的⼈造景观。景观的症状涉及到⼈们离开后留下的问题。追寻、复制、刻画和保留。抽离的表⾯结构和抽象的景观照⽚构成了作品的⼀部分。规模变得模糊不清,我试图将这些元素从环境中剥离出来并组成⼀组抽象的符号试图并表达:⼈类在这些地⽅⽣存或活动的痕迹中与⼤⾃然共⽣或共灭的协调或冲突。
